Visual enhancements of roadways and points of entry to our county provide beauty for our
citizens and visitors. In the future, as funds become available, tree, shrub and flower plantings
will be planned for specific locations within Polk County. Shown above is one example of
the type of visual enhancements the Polk County Appearance Commission will encourage for 
our towns and rural areas. As these projects come to fulfillment they will appear on these pages.
