Polk wins Adopt-a-Highway award
In May, the Appearance Commission won the 11th Annual NC Litter Prevention Award from Keep NC Beautiful. The prize was awarded for an outstanding increase in the number of local participants in the Adopt-A-Highway program here in Polk County.
