Perched gracefully at the corner of Pacolet and Trade Streets, this metal butterfly brings a permanent touch of nature to the heart of Tryon. Sculpted by Will Kallberg, the piece consists of several intricately welded sections designed to 'flutter' above the garden embankment. A resident of nearby Columbus, NC, Kallberg is a familiar face in the local art scene, with several of his large-scale works also featured at the Tryon Arts and Crafts School.
