Little Morris

Sitting on top of the Rotary Clock Tower in downtown Tryon, there is a miniature version of “Morris the Tryon Horse”. This handcrafted copper and bronze replica referred to as Little Morris was installed in 2011 by a team of locals who wanted to have a version of Morris looking out over the town. Local metal artist Joe Cooper created Little Morris with help from his teammates Bill Ratterree, Jared Scott, Pattie Peake and Walt Meyer.
