Mural at K's New York Pizza

Heading into downtown Saluda, on highway 176 from Tryon, you’ll see a mural to your left that’s on the building that houses the restaurant “K’s New York Pizza”. Building owners Ken and Vikki Graham decided to replace a mural on the building that was painted over many years ago. They commissioned artist Timothy Bauer of Greer, SC to paint a new one. The community wanted something nostalgic that reflected the part of the town’s history when trains regularly ran through town. Bauer completed the work on July 20, 2014.
